I went to the zoo with Chin Hui and Wei Qi. The trip was fun in a way. I haven't been to the zoo in ages. As I've said in my previous few entries, my last visit to the zoo was 5 years ago. The weather wasn't at all sunny and dandy. Not that I love being under the sun (I hate being under the sun!). The weather there was cold and partly cloudy. Thank goodness, I wore long pants. Or else, my legs would have been shivering! The weather was also showing signs of rain when we were riding on the tram. And when we were just about to start on our walk trip, it started pouring drizzily (spelling?). We were still walking despite the rain.. until it started pouring heavily. We had no choice but to seek shelter. Our clothes were soaked.. and my pants were drenched in water. My feets felt extremely cold.. and all yucky. I was wearing sandals. I know it's a wrong choice of shoes.. but whatever.

Anyway, we waited for the rain to stop. And the rain started to fade away only after 3 hours or so. I might be wrong on the time though but it's definitely more than 2 hours. The rain didn't stop pouring.. there were still a little bit of rain. We continued our journey and took photos of the animals again. God, I hate the smell of animals! Especially the part when we were at the reptiles area! It smelled terrible! TERRIBLE! We kind of lost our way halfway through the journey.. but we managed to find our way out. Haha. We were looking for the african lions (yes, silly I know). We finally found them thanks to Wei Qi's ELITE map reading skills! Haha! >_> By that time, I think the rain had already stopped and the weather was already partly cloudy.

I felt a little bit "sian" though. But overall, it was an experience for me.
