Hey y'all.
Today was the National Day celebration. I reached school at 7.15am and met Qi Ying at the traffic light across our school. We walked into the primary school slowly and surely even though Mr. Chew has shouted across to the late comers to hurry up and get to our respective classes. The first few minutes was kinky. Me, Saihah and her friends chatted together. Then, about 5-10 minutes later, the uniform groups marched pass. And I gotta say - Even though I'm tall, I can't freakin' see anything! AT ALL. Because of the thousands of giants right in front of me.
Mr. Neo talked to the entire school (both primary and secondary) about some matters concerning the country and our neighbourhood. I wasn't paying much attention because I was literally fiddling with my pen. Then the songs were played. Bad sound quality if you ask me. Could have been better. But I have to give a round of applause to the group of Tampines Idol because well.. they did their job.. pretty good. Then it was the Tampines primary school choir students to sing. Damn. The song they sang is so cute and it made me giggle.
We were released to do our market day stuffs soon after. I went to the stall, helped them organize the sales, opened the packet of sweets and many more. I remembered very clearly who our first customer was. He's a Secondary 1 student. HEH. He was the one who sparked the chain of "marshmallow craze". Nah, just kidding. I pretty much got harassed today by the sellers to buy their things. DAMN. I'm so going to report this matter to the school. FREAKS! I tell you! BUT it was kinda fun getting harassed yanno. Thank goodness I brought $10 to school so i pretty much bought a lot of goodies for me to munch on. The first thing I bought was from our own stall of course then followed by 3E6 and 3E2. I didn't visit the other classes' stall because I couldn't be bothered to. Besides, my budget was $5 for the market day and I think I've gone over the budget by $2-$3. So then, later, the boys started to throw ice bergs (note that word BERG) at at each other. They then applied the principle of pressure by folding straws and allowing a huge mass of air in the middle of the straw and then knocking the air producing a freakin' loud pop sound.
Then got back to class about 5 minutes before the entire stall thing ended. Got our goodie bags. Eh, not that bad for the goodie 'cept the baked beans. I never liked tomato with baked beans. because I'm very biased against tomatos. We got a book (is it even a book?!), Today In history. Didn't manage to read it in class because of all the noise. GAH. Arranged the tables for the class because the VVVVVVVVVVVVIP is coming down this 11th august. Packed my goodies into my already-cramped-with-cookies bag and went home straight after that.
So now i'm abck home. I'm gonna go down to the tampines CC today maybe for a last dance session. XD
