I'm glad I didn't give this BBQ party a miss.

The BBQ was great fun! I arrived at East Coast park at 1.30pm and we were really early since the "real fun" only started around 4pm. There were three of us - Pok Quen, Ting Huang and myself. There wasn't anybody else besides the three of us. Later Fan ye, Jerry and Cheng Da arrived. They were sitting elsewhere further up.. and were exposed to sunlight. The three of us were sitting on a bench and were shielded from the sunlight. So we started playing jokes on the other three by messaging them and telling them we know whom they are with and what clothes they were wearing. The three of them starting looking around and finally walked about their area in search for us. *laughs* It was such a funny scene. We planned to take pictures of trees and castles using our camera phones and send them to Fan Ye so they could find the identical object and in their search.. find us as well but we didn't. So we played "spies" for about 30-45 minutes till we were spotted by Jerry and Cheng Da.

Me, Pok Quen and Ting Huang went to the hawker centre for our lunch later. I didn't buy anything because I thought the prices were rather steep and I could easily get a bowl of laksa at the Tampines Food Court for $3 and eat laksa in an air-conditioned room whereas the laksa at the hawker were sold at $4 with no air-conditioner. Besides.. I had eaten my lunch but I did buy a coconut drink.

Later Juvone, Jean and Jing Ting arrived. Poor people.. they were carrying food. Later the three of us settled at our pit and sat there crapping with one another. I thought of renting a bike but eventually I didn't because the price per hour is $5 [which I find RIDICULOUS] and I could use the $5 to buy myself a nice Long Johns Silver meal. But thankfully.. I did get a chance to ride on a bike Ivan rented.

Esther, Si Min, Ben Kok, Big Jon, Cindy, Wei-Qi, Hidayah, Nadiah, Zaheer, Shakina and Aslam arrived at around 3.30pm with a tonne of food in their hands. Hidayah brought home-cooked mee whereas Hafiz brought ayam rempah [spiced chicken]. The rest of the group brought the necessary things to start the BBQ such as hotdogs.. crap meats and the usual kind of BBQ stuffs.

I helped them lay out the forks and paper cups. Later Pok Quen asked if I wanted to ride on the bike. We asked Ivan and the rest if we could probably use the bike for a while and they said alright. I was excited and at the same frightened about this because it has been a long time since I last cycled. Jerry, Pok Quen, Ting Huang and myself got on our bikes and cycled until we reached the jetty. The jetty was packed with a lot of tourists and locals. Some were fishing and some were taking pictures. That reminds me of a particular tourist we met by chance. He wanted us to take a picture of him and well... I didn't do the job but instead Pok Quen because my legs were sore and I had a slight cut on my knee I got while on my way to East Coast Park. But coming back to the main issue, once we had reached the jetty, we sat on our bikes .. taking in the fresh air and experiencing the cool land breeze. About 10 minutes later we decided to ride back to our pit lest the BBQ had started.

But when we got back, the BBQ hadn't started so we sat and ate the mee Hidayah brought. I watched the rest of the boys playing poker cards and I was pretty interested in getting my hands on them. *shrugs* But I didn't in the end. By this time, the fire for the BBQ was almost ready. Most of the Malays had to leave by 6pm so they couldn't wait for the BBQ to start so we ended up getting a BBQ set up in the other pit the class booked. Zaheer was funny. He literally grabbed anything he saw on laid out on the cloth - chilli sauce [I took that, lawl], hotdogs, crabs and later, Hafiz took the spiced chicken. So being really "evil", I pretty much took away most of the crab meat. *blushes* Sorry ar.. especially to the Chinese people!

Andrew and gang arrived at about 4.30pm.

I had my fill and saw Andrew and gang sitting on a rock by the beach. I joined them and we had plenty of crap to talk about. The conversation was indeed very lively. In three years, I never had such a lively conversation happening between Andrew, Moses and the rest. We also shaped balloons. ;) Cindy gave me a red balloon and I had wanted to scare Shakina by bursting the balloon but she grabbed the balloon and threw it away on the sand. Heh.. I didn't mind though because I really thought that's fine. Slowly.. the rest of the boys came up and sat together. We pretty much crapped about.. made music and everything else you can think of. Ivan, Wei-Qi and Cindy were playing in the water. Ivan kept pushing both of the girls in the water.. and well.. you can guess what happened after. Both girls pushed him as well. Later.. I decided to join Ying Yun and Wei-Qi. Their feets were in the wet sands and the waves pushed them away. It was such a thrill. I mean.. it's been so long since I last had so much fun. So I later decided to take a rest on the rocks again. I was so amazed at the clouds. They were very beautiful. Just before night set in, the sunshine penetrated through the clouds.. giving them an orange-purplish colour which seemed so wonderful. I regretted not bringing my camera along on this outing because I could have taken a lot of photos and keep them as memories. *whines*

When I was tired, I went back to the pit. Mr. Lai and Mr. Chew were already there BBQ-ing some food. Ms. Picca had came earlier but left soon after and I have no idea why. Day time was almost over and night is setting in.

"This is the time I've been waiting for." I told myself.

Water bombs. What other impression can you get from this word? ;) The girls brought a shitload of water bombs and I grabbed some of them and headed over to where the rest were. I wasn't so sure whom I wanted to sabo but once a bomb was thrown.. the other bombs followed suit. And the unlucky person was none other than Si Min followed by Esther. I was saboed too by Juvone! HAHA. Thanks hor! =D HEHE.

The second round of water bombings was almost ready. Pok Quen and some other boys had brought more water bombs in trays. We each helped to tie the bombs. Once we were done tying them, again.. we headed to the pit. This time.. our targets wasn't on our classmates.. but instead.. the poor teachers. We started off with Mr. Lai getting bombed many times.. and he was drenched from head to toe. Then it was time to get our revenge on Mr. Chew. *evil laughter* He threatened us with this, "I still have your test papers ar!!" but we really didnt care. We threw quite a number of water bombs on him. HAHA. He too was drenched but not as badly as Mr. Lai. Then I got saboed for the third time.. god knows who threw it becaues it was launched from the back. HAHA. So I too ended up getting super drenched. But I didn't bother to change because I thought it's night time and you never know what lies in these public toilets. ;) *insert scary music here*

A group of our classmates gathered at the pavillion to play a game. I was told that they had to mimic a turtle's action? Is that it? I'm not too sure myself but I was happy to see them enjoying themselves. Mr. Lai played as well.. in the end, the girls lost to the boys and they had to 10 push-up. Too bad it wasn't diamond shape though.. *sighs* Later.. after getting bored of the turtle game, we decided to play Dare or Dare. Yup.. you guessed it. No truth. Initially I wanted to play in it but because I have no idea what's gonna happen to me if I happen to do some kind of stupid dare. *cheesey smile* The first unlucky but sporting was Hafiz. He had to hug a tree and say, "I love you TREE!" The next person was Ying Yun. She had to sing the most hottest, popular song on PERFECT 20 [aka the morning radio we hear in school everyday] - our school song. *laughs* But yes.. she did do her dare. Next was Benjamin. He was rather special because he was given two choices.. that is to kiss Si Min or say, "I love you Si Min!"

Side note: Mr Lai was scared. He even wanted to get out of the game. *grins* But we pulled him back.

I didnt get to stay longer because Pok Quen and the rest were ready to go back home. We wanted to take a bus to Paya Lebar and from there take the MRT and back to Tampines but we ended taking the taxi because we didn't know where the bus stop was. Besides.. it was night time and it was impossible to see. And none of us knew the exact direction. The same people [me, PQ and TH] took the first taxi. The rest told us to get on the first taxi. Thanks you guys! We alighted at Tampines Mall. From there, Ting Huang bid goodbye to us. PQ and I headed for the interchange.. which seemed to be a long distance [though it's short] because we were very tired. 292 was ridiculously late. *curses* I was eager to watch Baby Blues since it's the last episode!

The bus arrived about 45 minutes later. -_- And by that time, it was already 9.25pm and that means I've missed 25 minutes of the SHOW. By the time I reached the alighting bus stop.. it was already 9.37pm. -_-" Which means I've missed 37 minutes of the show. But thankfully.. my house was near the bus stop and I managed to catch 15 minutes of the show which isn't so bad lah.

Ok.. I'm going to go now. I'm too tired to stay online. Probably gonna sleep. And if I happen to remember some more details about the BBQ... I will definitely edit this entry. :)
