Hey y'all.

I got back from the field trip about 30 minutes ago. I woke up at 6am today and realize Dad didn't buy breakfast so I only had a kaya bread and Milo. I set off from home to school at 6.45pm and walked very slowly because I couldn't be bothered to walk quickly. I reached school at 7.15pm and saw Fan Ye outside. He was wearing home clothes so he couldn't get in. I settled at the canteen and later, Moses, Junwei, myself and a few other boys went to the shop opposite and bought drinks. I bought a snack and a H20 drink.

The bus was fuckin' late so we waited outside the school gate like fools, walking around in circles and some of us were dreaming. The bus came about an hour later and we boarded the bus. On our way there, I was ecstatic about the field trip because I thought - "Nature is great!" - only to realize it's going to be hell. We sat in the bus for about 45 minutes. The trip was estimated to be 30 minutes but because there was a traffic jam, we were held up by 15 minutes which is so freakin' precious. Now you gotta know - my butt kills me if I sit too long. We reached there at 8.50am if I'm not wrong. I can't remember exactly. Everybody took our their insect repellent and started spraying all over the exposed parts.

We stopped halfway through our journey to sketch a river and an enormous tree. Later we decided to name the river and we called it - "River of Moss" and there's a short and sweet story behind it. And well if you still don't get the "lesson" behind the river name, it has something to do with moss ferns and our dear friend, Moses. *giggles*

We walked on and came up and down slopes over and over again.. I was really tired by all the climbing up and running down. Then we stopped for awhile because Mr. Chew had something to say. Then we came to a road. THANK GOD. A ROAD. A SMOOTH BUT LONG AND LESS JUMPY ROAD. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Good news I know ... NOT.

We got into another part of the forest again. SHIT. And started climbing up and down. At this point in time, I blamed myself for not wearing the trek shoes and choosing to wear the school shoes instead. We came to a restroom later and everybody was like whining and sighing and complaining about the long journey. Me and Jonathon got into the office which is air-conditioned and sat there secretly but later an Uncle discovered both of us sitting there. HAHA. So we were driven out of the office and I took out a clean towel from my bag and wiped my face which has a little bit of mud here and there.

Well, finally, we were heading for the "real thing". The journey to the bridge was freakin' tiring because we were climbing up HIGH slopes and my legs were on the verge on giving up but my brain told to persevere. Thank goodness. I saw cute little monkeys. HEHE. There was this particular monkey with a baby monkey in her hands. It was SO SO SO ADORABLE! And Ivan was acting dumb and started woofing. Mr. Chew heard this and said, "The monkeys will attack you, Ivan!!" HAHAHA.

SPASMS: We were all pulling each other's bag. =)) Men. ¬_¬
Some even went to the extent to pull their friend's hair. Women. ¬_¬

We finally reached the bridge. I was the first person of the second group to step my foot on the bridge. The first part of the bridge was stable but the second part was the WORSE. The wind was quite strong and everybody was screaming and shouting, "OI!! Don't shake the bridge lah!!" Then halfway through walking the bridge, we had to stop a little while so our dear friend, Khairul, could take some pictures of the magnificient scenery. But I gotta say the scene was GREAT and eye-catching. But if you looked downwards, you'll get dizzy spells, I assure you. Andrew, Moses, Junwei kept saying the bridge is going to fall off any time soon and you know thinking back, the bridge could have collaspe if the shaking turned violent and we'll all die! Although I'm rather afraid of heights but not to the extent that I'll squat down halfway through the bridge. I was rather frightened and my legs had turned jelly but I could still move, THANK GOD.

So we finally reached the other end of the bridge and I thought, "Great, it's over!!!" and next thing you know? Countless staircases downwards. FUCK. I rather stay on the bridge than climb down countless numbers of staircases! So I walked down slowly while the others ahead of me had already reached a place and had rested. The rest behind me were WAY behind so I was all alone, walking down the staircase. OH NOOOO! At this point in time, I thought, "What's gonna happen to me? What if the rest had taken another route?!?! What if I'm lost?!!!" HAHAHA. How dramatic! In fact, there was only one route. *giggles* So I walked alone and finally reached the rest point. The people ahead of me and myself waited for the rest. When the rest had already reached the rest point, we were told to move on. My spirit was broken. I was on the verge of slitting my throat and die there. {LMAO, drama drama!} I was already with the first group walking to the end point when we heard shouts from the back. Yu Ying had fainted and injured herself. The rest of us took a break and squatted on the muddy soils. Then we were told to continue moving on... so yup, almost at the end I told myself this - "I've gone far. I'm not gonna give up." and continued walking. In fact, I wasn't walking at normal pace yanno.. I was walking at a fast pace. In my mind, I had this clear idea to get this trip done and over with.

We got onto the main road and took our next rest under a shade. Wonderful! The scenery there was fantastic.. there was a golf course.. oh my. I was amazed because I really didn't expect a huge land mass reserved for a golf course. Little wonder why Singapore is shrinking by each day, eh? So anyway, we continued walking a while later on main road. Walking seemed to never end. We couldn't even see the end point at all. Everyone was complaining. Si Min, Esther and a few others were walking slowly. The rest of us, including myself, had already reached a shade and rested there. Mr. Chew shouted to Si Min and the rest to hurry up.

"Must I say this?! The last person to arrive will not go on the next field trip to Bintan!!" The group ran and that's the funny part because I was laughing away. Even those who got ant bites. ;) Wonder if the ant bites were nothing.. but pretentious bites. Shallow people. XD

Er.. we walked to a point and then Mr. Chew said, "The road upwards is dangerous.. lots of heavy vehicles pass through this road. We'll have to walk through the forest."

I went, "wtf." and I recalled Esther saying, "Teacher want to kill us is it??"

Torture started again. We had to climb up and down slopes. OH DEARR. But everything came to end soon and EVERYBODY (yes everybody!) was happy to see the "River of Moss". Too bad we didn't had any offerings for God Moss. *laughs* We were near to the main road and everybody was revitalised. *giggles* Everybody was saying, "Oi quick walk leh!!"

So we finally reached the main road and waited for our bus for about 10~15 minutes. Why's our bus so late? The service SUCKS. The bus came later and knock against a traffic bar. Not the traffic light. I don't know what it's called. It's that yellow thingy that stops you from moving in. Get the idea? Meh. Never mind. I'll draw it out. :))

LOL. Sorry for the impromptu artsy. *evil laughter* I heard somebody said, "what a dumbass." Gotta agree with that. *insert music here*

This Friday, we'll have our BBQ at a chalet. =)) Can't wait for that day. I'm not gonna stay overnight though because then I won't be able to revise. :/

I still have tuition and an appointment with a doctor later. MAN. I'm so exhausted!

Toodles.
